Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create, review, and reconcile each individual gift batch processed.
- Coordinate with Gift Processing Manager to create and send all acknowledgement letters for received donations, and mail at post office within 4 working days of the donation’s delivery date.
- Add new constituent records to the database as needed, analyze information, and populate all appropriate data fields where information is available.
- Perform special data entry projects as assigned by Gift Processing Manager or CFO.
- Notify family members of gifts given in honor or/in memory of someone.
- Assist donors when they call into the office.
- Develop a rapport with volunteers and assist them as needed.
- Assist Gift Processing Manager, CFO, and Development Department with tasks and projects as needed.
Job Standards
- Must be self-motivated, well-organized person.
- Ability to read / write English, compose letters, thank-you notes, and other forms of communication in a manner that inspires confidence and warmth.
- Must be a Christian who has a testimony that includes a definite experience of having received Christ as personal Savior.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; however, an Associates Degree in business or a related field is highly desirable.
- Must be honest, dependable and exhibit a warm, cheerful, caring manner with staff, donors, and guests.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
